At least we have the ability to mod it, which will add longevity. This installment is good, but it still has so much potential to become great! And possibly better than remake, if the devs would just give us OPTIONS to play how we want. While I like to enjoy the technicality and playstyles of all the characters, realistically I can not fully enjoy all the characters because of the (possibly biased?) huge spread put between characters.

It feels like cheese when you have 2 main characters which are overpowered due to the sprint and dodge mechanics (Cherry and Adam), when compared to the others who are not able to do either. But they played remake as well, and for reasons I cant fathom, not being able to move quickly with every character limits how fast you can play/react/clear ground/complete stages with those who cant.

Feels like the sprinting/dodge movements that were given are given to characters that were made later in development, an afterthought.
